It really matters what you want to do with them. If you plan on keeping them and adding them to your selective breeding program, and keep detailed records. Yes put them in the birthing box. On the other hand, if you dont have a program setup, and just like guppies in your tank, let them drop the fry in your tank. Give them a few hiding places. Not too many. That way only a very few fry survive and you wont be overrun after a month. My last 2 drops were 36 and 28. My other friends girl just dropped 63. wow. I have 4 females myself. About 150 fry i am growing out right now. My females only see my males when mating. I have seperate tanks for females, males, fry grow out and birthing.
