Are you aware of what cycling is? You should have no ammonia readings ever in a cycled tank. If not, please visit the cycling stickies on the forum.
20 gallon with a male betta, neons, glowlights, and red cherry shrimp. (work in progess) Recently added a few LIVE plants and driftwood, Woooohoooo!

I am not Dumb, i have had 125s and 500 gallon tanks before, .25ppm i have been told since i was in the hobby is somewhat descent if your doing a fishful cycle, I only have 2 snails at moment, let me friend "borrow" my BN pleco, I am still doing .25 just for snails.. not to be an @ss. I have been cycling for going on 3 weeks, with the BN and snails, the BN went to live with friend yesterday. this snail came from Petco, I dont get my pets from bigbox stores but i had a coupon, so i could live with a snail, maybe it was a petco pet that may have been the problem, my other snail is perfecty fine.. granted it did come from a LFS

My apologies, I did not mean to imply you were dumb.

I didn't look at your history...I was trying to be helpful.
