Default Been given a small Betta Tank

A friend of ours has given me a couple of tanks that they weren't using. Whoohoo!

One of them is a betta tank that is about half a gallon with integrated filter system. I've not kept bettas before, this tank size strikes me as small even for a betta, is this too small or will the fish still be happy with a cycled filter?

Much too small for a betta. How about putting a plant in it and a few cherry shrimp?

Way too small for a betta

I would not keep a betta in anything smaller than a 5 gallon tank.

Agreed, Betta need at least five gallons
2 10 gallon tanks, 1 20 gallon tank, 1 Fluval Edge, 1 29 gallon tank, and one backyard pond.
