I probably haven't checked my pH for probably a year. Once everything is established, what you have is what you have and nothing much changes it.

How are those parrots and the severum doing? Happy I bet.

Yeah - I rarely check my PH but check A/N/N pretty much weekly. Just thought I'd see how it was in the new tank to make certain nothing was too far out of wack so checked the others as well.

Those little parrots are the cutest things ever! Still shy but getting a little better. The SEV (Mellow Yellow) is gorgeous. He's a big buddy of the little BP. Hope to add another BP within a couple of weeks along with some congos that will maybe??? bring them out of their shyness a little more? But they're not happy today as today we are fasting. I'm getting a lot of disgusted looks at they peak at me from under their little caves

LOLOL I had to give up on the fasting. My heart can't take it with all those little faces looking at me in the morning. Mine are bouncing all over the place when those lights come. Food! Food!

My biggest female is the one that hides the most for me. She has her one spot and can always be found there. She spends her days chasing the others out of HER spot.

I'm glad you're happy with your fish and love yours as much as I love my parrots. Congo's sound great.

It's tough, let me tell you. I might break down and drop a zucchini into the tank today - figure if they are truly hungry they'll nibble on that.

How do you sex them? My biggest also has her spot where no one else is allowed

I really am happy with them. thanks again for recommending them.
My LFS guy is actually QTing the congos and the PB + an angel for me. His tanks all run on separate filters and he generally has an available tank so he said, no problem. So I'm really happy about that. As soon as the HOB I ordered from Amazon arrives, I'm adding it to the 90, seeding it with some extra media that I have stuffed in my other filters, letting it run a few days and then I'm bringing those new babies home. Can't wait!
