Yes. You can swish them around in a cup with a little tank water. They will thaw in a couple minutes.

Agreed - you can put a whole cube (if you buy the cubes - they also come in sheets) into a cup of tank water and pour them in little by little (not the whole thing) - watch the fish finish them and add a little more. I found by the end of the cube, the fish were full & less interested so I never used the whole thing.
Caution: if you end up putting too much in and the fish don't eat them all, it's important to clean the remainder out of the tank - I had higher nitrates for a while and discovered old shrimp in the tubing of my filter - ewwww...: )
