My first ever fish tank!! I'm in love with my telescope goldfish!

Be honest, I didn't like goldfish. Some of them have the bubble-ish look, which scared me when I was little. However, my friend's goldfish were surprisingly cute! My friend has a red telescope goldfish and a bubble eye goldfish.

After I got back from Asia, I decided to start my own fish tank! I always wanted to do so. I so far got 4 neon tetras, a telescope goldfish, and an albino cory catfish! I really enjoy watching them swimming.

I hate to burst your enthusiasm bubble but a 5g tank is not big enough for the goldfish alone much less the company you have [and intend to get] for it.

I would suggest you do some research into the adult sizes of your stock choices and I also have to ask if your tank was cycled?

I am glad you love your fish so much.

In the interest of doing what is best for their health and happiness, I feel compelled to tell you that your tank is far too small, and your fish are incompatible due to their natural habitats. Your goldfish will become stunted...they do not stop growing in a small tank, they just become deformed inside.

Also, if you have not cycled your tank (grow bacteria that eat waste products), then your fish will likely fall very ill and die from swimming in their own waste unless you do daily water changes.

I suggest getting a 20g tank and returning your tropical fish (the cory and the neons).

5.5 gallons are only big enough for ONE betta or micro fish (under 1 inch).

Goldfish are cold water fish and the others you listed are warmwater. If you love them, then do your research.
