confused over lighting
Newbie here still in the planning stages. I've pretty much figures out what I'll need except lights. I'm planning a 40g breeder because I like all the floor space. What lights? The only thing I'm sure of is I want LED. I plan to have fish live rock and sand, anemone and corals. I would to go with mid/high lighting just to be sure I have enough and don't have to buy twice. Help??

For T5HOs you go with a 4 bulb fixture with one Fiji purple, two super blue (not actinic) and one 12 to 14K white bulb
For LEDs, you could go with two units of aquatic illuminations (SOL model) or something similar
If you can afford it, I would suggest the LEDs as (IMO) they are they are a better quality of light as compared to T5s. But T5S will provide a good light as well. Either option will give you enough lightLast edited by Cliff; 10-09-2012 at 09:54 PM.

Problem is there are so many different led units out there I don't know where to begin
Got a link for one that comes with the right bulbs? Lol sorry don't mean to sound so clueless
