Assassin effectiveness
I have a few snails on the floor and sides of the aquarium, but my biggest explosion is in my floating water sprite.
Will assassin snails eat only snails that they come across on the substrate, or will they find them all over the tank?
Thanks

They are really effective with snail control. They will actively seek them out until you're out of pest snails to feed them.

A stiff shake of your plants will send a large portion of those snails floating to the substrate, Assassins will eat wherever they find food :-D.
