super confused with my snail???
i have had my snail for about a week and other than the past 24 hrs my snail has been moving almost non stop around my tank it even seemed to atempt to climb out when i was feeding but now my snail has been in the same spot and i noticed brown ovals on a string attached to the inside part of my snail dangling, they look like loose grapes, are these eggs? or does it have anything to do w why my snail isnt moving around the tank?

Welcome to AC!
What are your water parameters? First thing y'oughtta check when you suspect something is wrong...snail eggs do not dangle, they lay them on surfaces.

Yes. Ph, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates as well as the temp.

i got this aquarium from one of my friends and they had used aquarium salt a while back would that hurt my snail? and im not sure wht the ph level is, he is in with my goldfish, so its not specifically a tropical tank. I didnt think the tempature would afffect my snail because the tank i got it from was not heated.

When in doubt, do a water change - at least half. Now would be good, the sooner the better if you can't do one now.
Its always the best thing to do when you don't know whats going on, and it certainly seems like something's wrong with your tank.
If I were to hazard a guess, your snail is suffering from ammonia poisoning.

The problem is likely to happen again. I'd recommend you keep doing water changes every couple days until your tank is properly cycled.

Its likely the salt added to the water. If any remained, Snails and salt do NOT go well together!
The dangly bits coming off the side of your snail is poop :)2 10 gallon tanks, 1 20 gallon tank, 1 Fluval Edge, 1 29 gallon tank, and one backyard pond.
