It wasn't too bad to clean. Vinegar is DISGUSTING smelling though. It's drying right now, tomorrow will add sealant and I hope it goes well.

Time to search for the caulking gun.

Have you tried to scrap it off with a razor blade ?

That worked really well for me
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I am assuming you already tried a single sided razor blade followed up with rubbing alcohol?

The top corners are too thick and the razor can't get it off, then there are a few strands along the bottom that I'm having trouble with. But I don't want to scratch the tank. Anything I can put on it, maybe warm it with a hair dryer?

Yeah have been using the razor and a baby spoon to scrape it off.
Yes, a baby spoon. Worked well for the most part? LOL

That's for after the razor work is done, I would just keep hacking/slicing away at it. Progress will be made

you just have to keep applying the elbow grease you will scrape it all off eventually , don't be shy with the new razors , periodically changing to a fresh blade always helps & be careful i always end up slicing up my fingers when scraping silicone off glass
