The only vinegar I have is apple cider vinegar, does it matter? I saw somewhere online that rubbing alcohol would be okay, but have mostly seen vinegar used, and the tropical fish ebook from here said dish washing liquid.

So I don't know what I should use. I am in the process of resealing the tank.
