My LED's Lights
im taking the bullet and buying some LED units, i will be buying two 72Watt units. they are 3W Cree Xpg White and Blue. they are dimmable which is great, but my real question is that they can be built how ever you like, standard is 1:1white:blue., how ever should i go ahead and get 1:2 white:blue?? the blues will all be on the same dimmer and the whites on their own dimmer switch.
Help me make my choice please. im not sure what i want to do
right now i have 2 150MH at 14k color, and 2 96w actinic PC

I run AI SOLs which have 1 white, to 1 blue (ie. T5 superblue) to 1 royal blue (ie T5 actinic blue).
I would go with 1:2 white to blue. Lots of light and higher in the bluer spectrum to help fight nasty algaesIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
