why can't they just a plastic fish toy in there instead? Or maybe not animal related.

Its still small but actually if you look closely its one of those cubes that are 4x4x4". Still way to small for really anything to live in, but much larger than the betta cups.

I would probably buy it, remove betta to a proper home, and put in some micro plants and cute little ramshorn pest snails and play mini ecosystem that way. Or like one cherry shrimp and some christmas moss to make a holiday scene! :D But im just wierd. XD

This is here in asia, and they sell these bettas for NTS500 [ about $17 ] for 50 bottles of them.
