  1. Default Shell-dweller tank

Can I put 3 multies or 2 brevises in a 5 gallon tank? Just wondering for a possible setup.

  2. Default

    Minimum would be 4 multi's in a 10g. I'd say maybe like a 15g for a pair of brevis.

EDIT: Min recommended group size is 4 specimen for the Multi, and a pair(1 male, 1 female) for the brevis.
Finally reached 6 tanks... oh god, this addiction is getting serious. 75g mbuna tank, 65g gold severum, 55g OB peacock breeding colony, 30g(36x18) growout, 20 long Dwarf Alto's, 10g fry tank.
If I die young bury me in... An 8x2x2 with versa tops and a large sump for adequate filtration;)

    Thanks! =)

No problem. Do you plan on upgrading tanks or will you do something else with the tank?

I'm hoping to upgrade to a 10 gal or larger but being 11 years old and having parents wanting to stay with small tanks doesn't help with my plan! =(

11? You may be the youngest member here.

Good luck with the bigger tank haha...

Thanks! I'm thinking about putting a betta an some endlers. sound like a good setup?

I think you could do only a betta in a 5 gallon, but not much more. It would be in betta heaven with a 5 gallon tank to itself:)

A betta by itself might be a better option in a small tank. Some bettas will not get along with other fish, really depends on the betta. I've had bettas that will be fine with other fish, while others will not get along with anything. If the endlers have long fins, it might not turn out well for them if the betta takes offense to them. If you can talk your parent's into a 10g tank, it would open up the choices a fair bit.

    Thanks a lot!
