All birds can get night-frights. But yes, cockatiels seems especially prone to them.

How long have you had your macaws? I had mine for 12 years but had to give him to my friend when I joined the military. Breeding chicks must be alot of work, my one bird was like a job I couldn't image being a breeder.

the male is 7 & the female is 10 ,it's not that difficult , just feed the birds well ,supplement with vit,minerals etc, especially CALCIUM , give them a sturdy nest box placed appropriately out of the sun and rain , the birds will do the rest unless you want to handraise chicks, well that is a whole other can of worms lol

Beautiful birds!
We have a Sun Conure and a Lovebird. I would recommend either as a beginner bird. But boy can the Conure be LOUD!!!
