    I think the caique would be my best option. What about paroletts.

    from my experience parrolets are pretty tiny and get sick easily, plus they're real jerks lol if you want a smaller bird to interact with conures and caciques are the way to go , although bidgies, cockatiels and lovebirds make wonderful pets but, they're not as impressive as the conures or caciques

    My white-capped pionus is a great parrot as well...not too big, not too noisy...and endlessly entertaining...

    I would start off with a budgie then move on to a caique. Have you ever kept a button quail?

    i've raised them for my snakes untill i changed over to mice but now i don't keep snakes cuz i am trying to channel my auras towards fishkeeping

    That's fine provided you want a budgie to begin with.

    Budgies are intelligent little parrots that live to be 15 or so years old. They deserve to have a great, committed home. Unless you're sure you want one...don't get one.

    I'd rather keep a budgie than a cockateil. Might try finches too.

    finches are cool but in my opinion they lack the intelligence and personality of parrots, parrolets etc , plus they don't live as long and are harder to tame
