Looking forward to seeing some mroe pics when you get a chance. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Hey guys... Its been a while, thats my bad. Been working on school, havent had much time on my hands as of recent. The tanks been going well, ripped the hardscape out though, too much BBA. Working on getting some manzanita from california.

AFS, hes a fun little guy... quite courageous too, doesnt get out of my way at all lol:
The rams have been doing okay... not as colorful as I would have hoped and I suspect that they've been crossbred with some gold rams at some point. They just don't have all the marked features of GBRs, a little disappointing to be honest.
I've added some peat extract to the tank, helps with the acidity and has some beneficial health effects. Water is a little yellow but thats not an issue in my mind. The plants look yellower too.

Hey guys. No updates really. My EI dosing schedule is just about tweaked to where I want it and the plants are doing well. Heres a pic I took just now, 4 days after the last pics of the tank. The growth is crazy... I'm going to have to cut a lot of that Hygro sunset in the middle there... its crowding out a bunch of young swords and some cabomba.
