    Question Neon Rainbows

    My LFS has neon dwarf rainbows and red neon dwarf rainbows. The first is a silvery color (at my other LFS they are a beautiful shimmery blue) and the second is definitely a reddish color.

    I thought they only came in 1 color, the silvery/blue. ??????

    75 gal Freshwater Aquarium
    Sand substrate and artificial decor
    11 Gold Pristella Tetras
    6     Scissortail Rasboras
    5 Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish
    2 Zebra Danios and 6 Long-finned Zebra Danios
    And an Extremely Cool Calico Bristlenose Pleco

    are you sure the "red" is not because of the tank's lighting?
    Silver will reflect all the colors.

    That could be. The color difference was very noticeable. Love the blue ones. What is the best lighting to bring out the blue color?

    Also, the red ones were listed as "Red Neon Dwarf Rainbow ".
