    Default swordtail has ocd

    I have a red swordtail that is obsessed with its own reflection, she nudges its face against the wall and chases herself for hours, then loses interest and swims around the tank. possible its sick? not enough plants/rocks ?

    is it alone? most livebearers are social to an extent and should be kept in
    trios or more. If it has "real" friends it won't obsess with its reflection so much.

    will red velvet swordtails and red wag swordtails get along? by that I mean, will they school/are they suitable fish friends?

    My two platys did this all the time, and then I bought three more and they do it a lot less now.
