I'm getting frustrated with my aggressive cichlids...help!

Rusties, yellow lab, acei's are good if you want minimal agression in your tank

I was having extreme aggressive issues with mine also. Killing each other often. Remove the aggressive one and another becomes aggressive.

Well I went to the Newport Aquarium and their chichids were peaceful. But packed in like sardines with our any cover or hiding places.

I moved them to a much smaller tank and increased their numbers dramatically. Mimicked what I saw at the public aquarium.

Problem solved no more fighting. I have 2 dominant ones now. They occasionally dart after the others. But never chase them down.

I figured if they doing it professionally, they know what they are doing.
