tubifex worms?
i have been doing some work to my lawn recently with a "bobcat" machine. it's working in the mud so it's leaving ruts all over and water is collecting in them. one day i noticed that there was mosquito larve in them which is great live fish food. however, a few days later i noticed that there were clumps of red worms wiggling in the fine silt. when i stomp on the ground they shoot back into their hole.
does anyone know if these are tubifex worms, earth worms or...? i would love to feed them to my fish, but im hesitant on doing so because they might have parasites.
