Stocking my 155 gallon tank
Hi Everyone,
I need some help, I currently have 2 blood parrots, 2 red jewels and 1 pleco in my tank and want to put more fish in.
Can anyone help me on what other fish I can add? I love the blood parrots but prices have shot up to around 37 each.. ( I only paid 10 a year ago).
I don't want anything bigger than the 8" and I don't want this tank to be over stocked.
Any input on what type of fish I can add?
I do have a 33gallon with 1 blood parrot and a convict ( convict was badly beaten in pet store) and he's best friends with my blood parrot.
thanks for any help.

Honduran red point
T-bar cichlid
Green flier cichlid
Convict cichlid
You could list the available south american and central american cichlids available from your LFS. Generally, I don't mix an african cichlid like the red jewels with non-african fish.
If you have a male convict and female parrot in the other tank, get ready for some fry.

If you are just looking for cichlids, then how about central american rainbow. The thorichthys group are a good choice.(ellioti, meeki, aureus)Perhaps some medium schooling fish,Filament barbs(Dawkinsia),Arulius barbs,or even T-barbs.(puntius lateristriga)Try some african schooling fish, distichodus affinis.(the only relatively small one in this species)The other possibilities include the flagtail(semaprochilodus),or most in the silver dollar area. All are definitely possibilities, but there are too many to mention.
