55 gallon starting over stocking?

I have become bored of my 55. Havent changed anything since i first started. Time to decide what i am going to keep. I am thinking of getting 4 juvie kribs to find a pair. Once that is sorted out going to rehome the remaining two. Here is a rough list of my stocking plans.

Pair of kribs
10-15 gold barbs
6-12 cories
school of cpds (if mine start breeding)

Any suggestions? Will i be overstocked i have never quite figured out how many fish to a tank.

What about starting a new tank project? Like a biotope type of thing?

i am open to suggestions. I want the kribs. so i guess i can use them as a starting point. What goes well with kribs?

What about thge Kribs, Upsidedown Syno Cats and some african tetras? Voila -- African-themed community tank! That's what I was planning for my 65, before I fell in love with Severums...
