Cracks in the sump are never fun! My first sump I ever owned got a crack in the bottom. I never knew it was leaking but knew something was wrong since I kept adding water daily. Turned out the water followed the tile on the floor to a pile of boxes I had waiting for garbage day. The boxes were soaking up the water and I never knew until garbage day
