Hi - setting up a second hand tank for the kids
Hi from Sydney,
Just setting up a 30 l tank that I picked up second hand so the kids 5, 8, 10 can have a go and see if they like keeping fish.
Has a built in filter - never had this when I was their age and I'm trying to work out how it all is meant to hang together.
The brand is Aquarium Systems, the filter is a Duetto DJ 50, but doesn't look like the ones I see by googling - those are clear, mine is dark plastic - looks like there's a sponge missing from below the impeller. The next chamber has a sponge and then there's another chamber with a charcoal? filter - not much charcoal in it.
Most of the doc on the internet is in italian for this thing. I could post a picture if that helps
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the community. Make sure you check our threads on cycling tanks, so that your tank becomes a healthy and thriving fish haven ^_^
The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act

Welcome to the AC...
.
You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.
