Need Help with Discus

I have had them for a week in a bare bottom tank by themselves and 30 minutes ago when I was introducing them to my planted tank I noticed the female had this lump on her, also a tiny bit of rot, what medicine should I use, am I being to worried??

I have contacted the breeder, still no response. Wondering if it is just from stress..... or I should start medicating. Please help, don't want to loose another discus.

Can't speak for the lump-so my apologies

but that looks to be ICH? (not fin rot) don't quote me on it as we'll get more people to take a gander at the pictures.

What your seeing is actually bubbles on her tail since I did a water change before I put them in, Her anal fin looks to have a tiny amount of fin rot.

I am now half dosing e.m. Erythromycin into my tank just to catch anything early. Half dosing just because there are cory cats and cardinals.

The male is swimming around very curiously while the female is still in the corner...... :(

The spots on the tail look like ich. What temp do you keep them at? I dont keep discus but from what I have read they are kept at temps higher than normal tropical to help combat ich.

Are they alone in the planted tank? Just checking to see if there is anyone else bothering them in the tank.

I do believe those were bubbles because they are no longer there, I keep them at 84 F which ick can not survive in. I'm just more worried about the lumps on her side if anyone knows what they are?

Yup, I deworm all of my angels every 6 months to kill off the worms. You deworm a dog.

how do I deworm?
