  1. Question 10gallon Tank Stocking advice

    0 Not allowed!
I am thinking of stocking my tank with

    6 neon tetras,
    2 Dwarf Guramis
    1 pleco

    Is this a good mix?
How should I introduce the fish? Neons first then gouramis?

multiple gouramis will never work in that size of tank, nor in any tank size smaller than 100G. Nor a common pleco.

I will just do 8-10 neon tetras and call it a day.
Da name's Paul. Not Dave. ROFL

Learn to give and take. That's how things should always work.

    +1 to that.

You can't keep 2 gouramis together... they'll kill each other.

Plecos will grow to a length which is longer than your tank length... not a good choice for a tank that small.

You can stock 15 or so neons and some shrimp. Would look quite nice with some live low maintenance plants.

    +1 to above.

Neons or Ember Tetras and shrimp is all I would recommend.

Or if you really like the Dwarf Gourami's just keep ONE on it's own in the tank. One DG is enough for a 10g.

What about microfish like Chilli Rasbora, Celestial Pearl Danios or Emerald Rasbora and some shrimp?

I would also cycle the tank before adding anything. Small tanks get very toxic very fast when trying to cycle with fish.
