I wouldn't mind. I hope everything arrives alive to everyone, because that would be bad for my self esteem and reputation around here. lol

If you can send me your address, like Mandy did, I'll be happy to quote you some shipping prices. I have the Frogbit in a 10gal, and it's quickly outgrowing the tank.

Well, I'm unhappy with my tank again...

I'm thinking about getting rid of the rocks on the left side of the tank, altogether. I think it cramps the space too much. I'm also seeing growth in black spot algae... I thought I had defeated algae in the tank with my new regimen, but now it's making a comeback. I have a feeling it's due to all of the visitors we've had recently (last few months), who stay in the basement and love the idea of opening the curtains of the door and allowing light to hit the side of the tank. My family knows what not to do, but no one else pays attention to the "rules" or "suggestions."

Needless to say, I'm sick of visitors cramping my style. lol ;P

I need to figure out how to get rid of this black algae. The SAEs do eat it, but certainly not enough of it... and now my once beautiful and very green Swords are covered with it... so is the Dwarf Lilly. ;/

    *sigh*

Maybe trimming is the only logical option. I've been toying with the idea of a barrier for the right side of the tank, too... but I don't want to kill any method of me being able to check the sides, so a background is out.

In regards to the new Alternanthera reineckii roseafolia stems... well, as I suspected, the fish are tearing them up, out of the substrate. I have no idea how to stop this from happening. And if I replant, they eat the stem and it ends up at the surface anyway. There are a few that are making it, but the only ones really doing well are in the 10gal RCS/rabbit snail tank.

Anyway... time for an overhaul, again? I think so... and I'm leaning toward swords, crypts and maybe a few dashes of color here and there. The RRFs will remain, along with the Lotus & Lilly, but I'm thinking of tossing all (or at least a good portion of the Water Sprite). It grows like a weed and cramps everything... while not actually rooting under the substrate, which I'd prefer. It just anchors itself to the substrate, throwing roots in every direction. It's a pretty cool method, but not exactly pretty.

    More to come!

Sorry to hear about the algae, if you're thinking of tossing the water sprite I'd be glad to take a few plants(with roots) off your hands. :D

Man that sucks Kev. Have you thought about a blackout for the tank or maybe just a bleach dip for the plants with the aglae?
    FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
    Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's

Yep, I've given it some thought. How long of a blackout do you think would suffice? If I can bleach the plants and try to save them in another tank, I could blackout the whole tank and take all of the plants out without any risk to die-off. Of course, some plants don't do very well in a bleach solution, but it's possible they might bounce back. Luckily it was only the 75gal that was affected by this (and mostly the right side of the tank). The plants in my other tanks are fine and not close enough to be effected by the open curtain.

Generally a good 48hr blackout with a 75% w/c before and after should do.
