Kevin, you aren't going to keep the temp up for 10 days after the spots are gone? Sorry about your BRB.

Thanks for the update, Kev. Glad you are kicking ich's butt, and hoping the BRB can pull through the challenge.

Looks like I'll have at least a little free time tonight. =] Going to do water changes, but hopefully that doesn't take 2hrs.
Is it 10 days after the spots are gone? Or a total of 10 days? I thought I read that usually ich drops off after 4 days, but it's good to have the heat up for another 6? Maybe I read it wrong.

That happened to the last one that died, so I decided to euthanize, knowing that his days were numbered.

lol, thanks CM. ;P
Finished the water changes. Totally took 2hrs. It's always something. I misplaced my thermometer tonight, so it took me probably 30min to find that stupid thing. I really need to get more organized, but the kids are always messing with my stuff.

Kev, glad to hear the metricide is working for you

First time I dealt with ich I waited 5 days after all the spots were gone, they showed up the next morning after stopping treatment

Have a great vacation, I get 1/2 off tomorrow (turned down a chance to work at the second job, 4 nights of working 8-10 was not fun) and of course monday off.
