I'll have to try the garlic powder, though. I've not heard of that before -- thanks.
LOL..."fatty platys" is what we call them...and fresh minced garlic is actually better, but I was out of the fresh yesterday

This is a good idea, thanks! though I don't do s'mores, wife and daughters love them

You don't "believe" in pecans?...they're not like ghosts or unicorns...they also make them with stuff besides pecans

Kevin and Compass, how can you not know what pecan sandies are? Where do you live? The land of no cookies? Pecans are real! Slap, I bet they call them peecans too.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

^ quote master, indeed. (should I bow, or what?)

Seriously, no pecans for you? I'm wondering if perhaps you've just grown tired of the debate over pronunciation and gave them up before you truly gave 'em a chance...

so Slap, Do you just put some fresh minced garlic straight in your tank? Just dumped right in? I've a garlic press and I'm not afraid to use it. (Well, alright... maybe I'm a little bit afraid.)

See now, you're set with one pack then. 2 for your fish -- using the brilliant suggestion from Compass -- and one for the wife and child. SET.

*whispers* bonus points if you bring along extra chocolate for the fam. Gotta have chocolate on the side, ya know.... Think of it as a side dish.

LOL, no no no...mince some garlic onto the veggies, let them sit for some hours...then scrape off the garlic bits before you feed
