Feeding Time, Part Deux (Enticing the Cats):
I tried to seduce my cats w/ food tonight. It worked for a little bit, but they remain elusive. You can see the bigger one in the coconut cave, struggling on a decision to come out or not. lol He constantly turns around in that little cave, really anxious to get out of there and eat up, but I think he's reluctant to do it, because of the lighting. If I had better moonlights, I'd set them and feed. Maybe someday. =/

What great videos. Had never heard the Kenny Chesney Fish Bowl song - too funny
And the music on the other two was GREAT. So dramatic - really fit the feeding frenze.
Beautiful fish. Eager for the rummies and ruby barbs to really color up. The tank will be spectacular! And I can hardly believe that even the biggies cat fish could eat that apisto - but, you never know.

Awesome pics and videos, Kev....that tank is spectacular....rummys look great, looks like their colors have really come on quickly!...and I'm stiil holding out hope for the little lady, but now that you've dug around in the tank, things are starting to look bleak, I'm afraid
Thanks for those videos, they were great...I've never heard the "fish bowl" song either, but it fit perfectly

lol, thanks guys. Yeah, I thought that song was a great fit, too. I just got back from NJ last night (went up for my son's baptism) and everyone appears to be doing quite well (and still present, which is a big plus).
This week the plan is to get the Marble Pothos "planted" in the top of the 75gal. I already planted Lucky Bamboo in my other tanks (in the HOB filters) and they've already grown in 3 days. Pretty crazy...
Tonight I'll be doing some water changes.
I turned on my blue leds last night and I'm a little nervous about the new lighting. Plants didn't appear as "healthy" as I'd like, but it was dark... so I'll have to wait until I get home tonight to make a fair judgement. If they're as bad as they seemed, I may switch back to T5HOs and try to return the LED fixture I got. I'm holding out hope that they still look ok and my mind was playing tricks on me. It was a long weekend, after all. ;P

The lady Apisto is still missing, but I didn't expect her to miraculously appear. The Rummys were out and about much more than when I left, which is good news. =] Everyone else was also doing well.
I actually went home at lunch and checked on the tank. It appears that the light is doing fine, so I'll continue using it. Everyone is out and about and full of activity. Seems that lunch time is "go time," because everyone gets really active about that time and settles toward the end of the day, when I get home from work. The plants all look great, with exception to a couple that they decided to eat while "fasting" over the weekend. lol It was a Hygro, so it'll pop back. Just thought it was funny to find a tattered plant that was fine before I left.
I really love this tank now. I had reservations about it for a while there, but the new additions really stirred things up and I'm finding that my scape is also pleasing to me. Speaking of which, the weather is really nice today and should be for the remainder of the week. If you want some plant trimmings, I can certainly throw some your way this week.
