  1. Default molly & guppy being a sh*t!

hey guys just wanna pick your fab brains again in my 60L tank i have 3 male guppy's and 4 danios all fine but one guppy has taken to fin nipping the other guppy's he has killed one and now started on the second hes the biggest and nicest one but ive never seen this in guppy's before. i always keep all males as i don't want fry so its not a lady problem and also in my big tank 180L I have 2 dalmatian mollies and 2 balloon mollies and one of the dalmatian ones is such a bully he did damage other dalmatians fins but its healed and other guy just stays away from him now but he even makes a dive for my 5 inch angel fish hes that much of a sh1t! i cant re-home I have tried parting with fish free before, i live in a very rural area no one wants them, and also would hate to give NASTY fish to some poor tank what i want to know is, if i get rid of these bullies will some other fish take the role on! is there anything i can do in order to keep these fish and make them behave? any advice is greatly appreciated!!! also how do i help a fish with bitten fins :-(

You might want to isolate all the male guppies away from each other in breeder boxes/nets, until the problem can be solved.

Unfortunately, guppies sometimes act like this without females.
Adding some plastic plants might help.

Sometimes adding more fish will even the power dynamic out in a fraternity.

The best treatment for nipped fins is pristine water and time.

What are the sexes on your mollies? All male?

Ok so again it may be male aggression. They have all those hormones with no outlet...might even be why he charges at the angel.

Sometimes you have to weed out fish that disrupt the source of the problem. I don't keep any fish around that wrecks the harmony of the tank and the other occupants. My thought is if he has already killed one and is starting on another, why is he still in the tank? His new home would be the bottom of my waste basket. What's the difference if he's in the waste basket or those who he has killed?

I also had aggressive Molly's (once). They didn't last long around either.
