70L Aquarium stock
I'm currently cycling my 70L aquarium and plan to move my 4 neon tetras and 1 gold tetras over to this. I understand i have to up the schools for each type, but I would also like 2 feature fish - something a bit bigger and brightly coloured, perhaps a molly?
Can any suggest how many i should up the schools to and type of more active feature fish? (I have no interest in breeding btw)
(Tank has a 100w heater, a u2 filter and u1 filter also. not planted.

70L is about 15 gallons as an estimate. That isn't a lot. I would not add centerpieces if I were you, just up each of the schools to 6-7.. If you absolutely must, maybe ONE pygmy gourami.I tested 97% positive for Multiple Tank Syndrome

That tank is not big enough for 2 schools and the feature fish.
If you take back the gold tetras and increase the neon tetras to 12, you will have room for 1 Dwarf Gourami, or 1 Golden Honey Gourami. Or 2 mollies or Platys of the same gender. Two males or two females will be fine, if you get one of each you will be overun with babies in no time.
If you can not rehome the gold tetra you can do 8 Neons and 8 Gold Tetras and nothing else. Your tank will be full.120g New World Cichlids ♦ 65g South-East Asian Planted Community ♦ 30g in-the-works ♦ 15g Tanganyikan Shell-Dwellers
