Platy Fry
Hey,
Okay so i have 8 platy fry, and my female platy gave birth to them on August 16, so its been 3 weeks now,
my question is: How long do i have to wait until i can put them back in the main tank with my other platies?

I would wait until they were around an inch to an inch and a half.

Three weeks? So they're about the size of a pinky nail I suppose..?
I'd wait until they are thumb sized, provided you don't have huge thumbs.
What else is in your main tank? When they can go back in really depends on how big a mouth lives in there.

I somehow had 5 born in my main tank and survived to adulthood without ever being removed from the main tank. I attribute their success to a large, dense artificial plant. Now the babies are having babies; none seem to be surviving since I moved to all real plants (not as dense as that one plastic one).
