are comets predatory fish?

I put some comets in my pond with the result the death of goldfish. One of them survived with one eye. I just think that comets do not get along with goldfish. They are mostly chasing the goldfish, and snaring their tails. Do you have any experience with untamed comets?

keeping common goldfish (such as comets) together with fancy goldfish (like the one in your video) is not recommended. The commons are faster and more maneuverable and will out-compete the fancies for food.

Brhino is right on. Those fish don't belong together. Long bodied fish like the comets and commons belong in ponds. Fancies are slower moving, slower to eat and are terrorized by the bigger, faster moving goldfish.

All comets are untamed. No such a thing as a tame one.
