Thread: What to do? What to do?

The intensity of T5HOs is the reason that I still run a lot of PC fixtures. PC fixtures provide a lower-medium spectrum and dont force you to inject CO2.
If you look on Ebay you could find a single bulb T5HO fixture or a T5NO fixture for pretty inexpensive. You could also probably get away with a cheap Odyssea T5HO...their ballasts, bulbs, and reflectors are junk so the intensity is nowhere near a Current fixture.

Really not too crazy about buying another light fixture when this one is only 6 months old. I'm not all that sure I even care if this tank has plants in it anymore. I'm quite happy with just some java fern and anubias attached to driftwood and to heck with the rest of it.

Cant say I blame you on that...besides a little algae adds character to the tank providing it isnt filament algae. I hate filament algae more than one could imagine....180G CA Cichlid Tank(coming soon)| 90G SA Cichlid Tank| 56G SA Planted Community| 50G (undecided stock)| 20G Planted Nano Fish
