He's about 6" and fully grown. In a tank this size I don't have any problems with him. They can be a little aggressive though. I love it when he runs his mouth along the glass, it looks really cool.

I'd love to have one but I'm afraid my 90 will be too small - especially if I stock with the fish I want to get :o(

Here's my set up. Not quite a week into a fishless cycle. Hoping I can stock in 3 weeks max.

30 gal FW:dw gourami, cory cats, ABN pleco, Colombian & Serpae tetra, nerites & mystery snails
5.5 gal FW: crown tail betta
90 gal FW: Blood Parrots, severums, Jurupari, EBJD, congo tetras, angel, dw gourami, mystery snails

That's a great looking setup you have! Red Tailed Sharks can be mean if they feel cramped. I had problems with mine when I had him in a 55. Might be a good idea to skip one.

Wow! Thanks. Means a lot coming from you. I recently posted some before and after photos in the aquarium journal thread - so you can see what the whole set up looked like when I bought it (ug) and what it looks like after I refinished it.

Since I got it so cheap, I splurged on the LED lights. They are amazing. All the rocks come from a lake where our family has a cabin so they are special to me. had to buy the driftwood - but I got a deal :o)

    Thanks again.
