  1. Default Dwarf grass transplant

I recently purchased a batch of plants from liveaquaria,(awesome company, by the way) among which is about 10 pots of dwarf grass. It is firmly rooted into the sponge, tho. I want to actually plant the grass into my substrate, but I am concerned about disturbing the root system and killing all my grass. Would it be feasible to plant the 'pots' they are in? I really want that sponge stuff out, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Arrow

Take/Cut the plastic pots off, Remove the wool, Plant.

You may find you need to spend some time with a bowl of water getting all the rock wool out of the roots [Potential PITA] but as long as you are not a bull in a china shop about it they will be fine.

+1, just go slowly with some tweezers, preferably planting tongs and free up the roots.

  4. Default Alrighty then!

I am getting a bowl and a comfortable spot right now. I don't know why I didn't think of that myself. That's why I am a part of this fabulous community! I'll post some photos when I'm done!
