SAE's are a different kettle of fish though.
Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....
Ran out of room and time!!!
Instead I'll tell you the best piece of fishkeeping equipment ever....... Algae Scrubber :)

I shall look them up and will have to see if there available in any of the fish stores. So they are not like the CAE?

very different in behaviour from CAE's bud. I wouldn't touch a CAE if I was paid lol

CAE is not a SAE...
I agree with the "not being able to be paid to keep a CAE" LOL.

I used to have a lot of BBA around my java ferns, swords, and misc others.
Idealy you would want to test for and fix all your water parameters.
however I offer a quick fix.
I purchased a Golden algae eater for my tank, cost was $2 and it ate every little bit of it within a night.
If you wouldn't plan on keeping it though, I would recommend trying to find a LFS that will give you a store credit for one. Just put it towards fish food.
