    Default Is this black algae?

    I have all this black algae looking stuff growing all over the place. It is making the tank really dirty looking. I have been doing a lot of reading and before i do anything to the tank, I want to make sure that I have the right type of algae or bacteria.

    I did attach a picture of what my tank looks like and what I think it is, black algae.

    Please can someone possibly confirm this.
