9 views and [I will say it] apparently nobody knows just what you are getting at.

Can you explain more about just exactly what it is you are looking for please.

EDIT: A good possibility ILMGB, But I prefer not to guess :-P

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

If I had to guess, I'd say the OP has floating plants that have some very long roots hanging down and wants to contain them.

    Sound about right Doron?

    Thank you for the pics.

The cichlid tank looks like it is simply floating there though it could be secured somehow, I guess. It is hard to know if that is the long term position of that piece in the tank or not

The ray tank is harder to tell as it may be secured somehow but I cannot tell if it is clamped or siliconed or what, Sorry.

I am unaware of any videos about this but a you tube/Google search wouldn't hurt any.

    Good luck man.

Just tie something around it and then pull the string down to the bottom of the stand and anchor it from that point.

You could also wait till it sinks and then elevate it with some rocks.

I doubt it's tied but probably floating.

They want a nice rooty chunk of wood secured up top is my understanding.

Then put some fishing line on it and duce tape the fishing line to the back of the tank? Or put a tack in the wall behind the tank.
