20 long shelly tank
I was thinking of starting a shelly tank in a new 20 long i got. I am partial to gold occies and have plenty of experience with cichlids but none with Tanganyikans. I have a few questions, the first one being how many different species of shelldwellers could i keep in a 20 long? and how many of each? Also what other species of shelly are y'alls favorites?
Finally reached 6 tanks... oh god, this addiction is getting serious. 75g mbuna tank, 65g gold severum, 55g OB peacock breeding colony, 30g(36x18) growout, 20 long Dwarf Alto's, 10g fry tank.
If I die young bury me in... An 8x2x2 with versa tops and a large sump for adequate filtration;)

Upon further investigation i have absolutely fallen in love with Altolamprologus sp. "Compressiceps Shell" (Mbita) and Altolamprologus compressiceps "gold"
are either of those viable options in a 20 gallon? does anyone have experience as far as temperament and such? Finally reached 6 tanks... oh god, this addiction is getting serious. 75g mbuna tank, 65g gold severum, 55g OB peacock breeding colony, 30g(36x18) growout, 20 long Dwarf Alto's, 10g fry tank.
