The tank is a month old. Here are the specs:
55 Gallons
70# live rock
56# of live sand
20# regular sand
Seaclone skimmer
two circulation pumps
HOB Finnex refugium (has some algae, but I am getting some chaeto to go in it
Running a Marineland canister for chemical filtration, but will be replacing it with a HOB AC70 converted to a refugium in a few weeks.
Livestock: two pecula clowns, 2 serpent starfish, various cleaning crew (blue leg hermits and various reef safe snails)
Chemistry: all levels are good except my nitrates are still around 5ppm. I set up the tank with tap water. Been using culligan distilled for water changes and top offs for a month. Just got my RO/DI in the mail this week and began using it.
