    Looking good, Mandy. =]

That sword looks done for. Definitely your lights, if you've been dosing and have tabs in there. Hopefully I'll have good news for you about the BG Algae - just waiting on the remover to hit the doorstep.

Have you seen him puffed up yet?

Uhg... well I guess I'll be ordering lights for that one as well sometime.

No I haven't. I guess he's pretty content in there. They only do that when they feel threatened right?

My 10gal is using a T5 HO 10,000k light. It's a dual fixture, but I only have the one bulb in there. My spiral vals and swords are growing very well in there.

This is what I bought for the 10gal: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007RQKI5M/...T1_ST1_3p_dp_1

BUT, since then, I have found this guy on eBay and this is where I purchased the 48" fixture for my 75gal: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Lighting-/46...=topdogsellers

Hopefully you'll find something at a decent price. Seems like the guy on eBay has the best prices on the Odyssea fixtures (which both of my HO fixtures are).

Yeah, I think so. Maybe you should put a scarecrow in there or something. ;P Or jump at him every once in a while to keep him on his guard. lol

    Kidding!

CFL's work well on 10 gallon tanks. And they're cheap!

Thanks for the links Kev! I'll check out the first one. I HATE Ebay... Lol. And Puffy ALREADY hates me. I'm actually surprised he doesn't puff up everytime I come to the tank. As it is when he sees me watching him he jerks backwards, curling his tail, and backs into a hiding place. Like he can't take his eyes off me or I'll eat him.

    What are CFL's Kross?

A cheap way to up your lighting is to use a couple clamp lights like these:

    http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...1#.UG3uBy-Vue8

Along with some 23 watt daylight compact fluorescent bulbs.

If you have a glass top, you can set the clamp lights directly on the glass, and remove the clamps from the lights, since you won't need them. Or you could hang the lights from the ceiling by the cord, making it into a pendant light. Or just clamp the lights onto the edge of the tank, or a conveniently-located nearby shelf.

Or you may already have a couple desk lamps laying around that you aren't using, that you could put some CFL bulbs in and put over the tank.

    Cheap and effective.

    Or get a 20" Odyssea light from aquatraders.com :)

I'll probably go with aquatraders. I'm pretty satisfied with what I got for the 55g from them.
