  1. Default Cycling and filter flow?

Should I slow down my aquaclear filter during my fish less cycle? Or does it even matter?

  2. #2

    Lightbulb

Run it at capacity, There's nothing to be disturbed by the flow [Not that it is excessive] and you might as well use it's full capabilities.

  3. Default

Doesn't really make a difference although at full flow you'll be pulling more new water into the filter vs. recirculating the old.

  4. Default

Also, will it hurt to add another filter after I have started to cycle? My lfs will won't have my other filter in until tomorrow and I started cycling yesterday.

No problem whatsoever with adding another filter.

No, It is all old water being recirculated. If you meant that it turns over the water in the tank more quickly.. Then Yes.
