pregnant guppy question
Once a guppy starts having her fry how long could it take her to finish giving birth?

It can take somewhere between 6 - 8 hours, sometimes less, sometimes a lot more. I don't really think that you can put an exact time frame on it.

It should be finished within a 10 hour window. I advise you to LEAVE HER ALONE. She will finish faster.
CYCLE WITHOUT FISH FOR THE LOVE OF POSEIDON
Currently in the process of moving all of my tanks, everything is down for now!

i know this is an older post, but when she does give birth will she emediatly try to eat them or am i safe untill shes done?
20 gallon high- 1flame gouriami, 6 albino bronze cories , 3 guppies

Some fry will be eaten... usually the weaker ones... the stronger ones will get away.
