What is going on with my frogs?
I am about to lose my *third* frog to this mysterious illness, and have absolutely no clue what it is, if it's contagious, or better yet how to treat it. It always happened the same way... I wake up, find a frog floating toward the top looking very bloated. They usually survive about a day after this and I find them dead on the bottom. I don't understand it. I have a hard time believing three frogs in a row got "dropsy"... I keep my water super clean and always have enough food for them to eat, only feeding three times a week. Could this be the dreaded "chytrid" fungus I'm hearing about? I never really read about it in captive ADF populations but I think it would make sense, seeing as the legs of the one dying now seem to be sloughing off skin. Advice? Help?
