I recently got a small albino bn pleco, and I have been trying to get him to eat veggies for a week. I have put either cucumber or zucchini in every day, and I always got the same result...... Not even touched. He wasn't even swimming near it. I woke up today and I found him on the zuchini! He has not left that thing at all, and he is even chasing the otos away that get too close. So my pleco finally found out that veggies are very good. Just thought I would share.

Yay for your pleco! I hope this is the start of a beautiful friendship between your pleco and fresh veggies.

    Enjoy your fishie.
Why, yes, I do have a podcast that has absolutely nothing to do with fish: Rural Adventures In Creativity And Sanity
I started an aquarium journal! It is here on AC!

Thank you! Now I just wish that my otos could get a little bit of the fresh veggie, but my pleco is not gonna let that happen..
