    You're not telling anything about the tank size or what fish you added.

    As a guess.. your tank wasn't cycled or not cycled properly and is going trough that process now.
    3 potted plants and 6 strings of plastic do not make a planted tank!

    Yes, some answers have been posted in your intro thread.

    Honestly, to be easiest on yourself and your fish, you should return them all and do a fishless cycle.

    Barring that, you'll need that master test kit I mentioned in the other thread and you will need to keep your ammonia levels (toxic to fish) below 0.5ppm. This means (if you choose to keep your fish) you will have to do water changes every day to keep from poisoning your fish.

    The fighting could just be the fish establishing a pecking order; or, you have too many fish for the territory available - I'm not familiar with gold fish, so someone with more experience with them will have to answer that.

    Also, if you're seeing food hit the gravel, you are feeding too much. ;)
