poorly oscar :(

Hi
I own a Tiger Oscar who is around 6 years old. I have personally owned him for 3 years. He shares his tank with a pleco, it is a 260 litre tank- well filtered, cleaned often ph ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels have all been tested and all fine. For the past 5 days now he has not been eating, then yesterday I noticed his stomach/anus area is bloated and looks white...he was still acting his usual self other than not eating until tonight , now he is almost vertical- head down tail up just staying at the bottom of the tank. He swims occasionally and seems ok until he stops then his head goes down again.
Is there anything I can treat him with?

Have you ever given him PraziPro for internal worms?

Check those water parmeters. Do no think they are OK but know that they are. Nitrates less than 20 and the other two at 0.

With a pleco, gravel vac needs to be done weekly and large water changes for this tank. What is your filtration?

No I've never given home prazi pro. I have checked the water today, nitrate is 5.0, ph is 7 ammonia is 0.25 and nitrate is 0.2. The tank has an external filter a fluval 350 and is cleaned with a gravel Hoover yes.
He usually eats bloodworms, prawns...other various frozen cube fish food every day.
would you recommend an epsom salt bath? could it be a bladder/ intestine infection?

Hi, sorry your going through this.

Need more info.

•How long has it been setup:

•How many fish:

•Type of fish:

•Size of fish:

•Temperature:

•Any recent changes in tank decor or tank mates:

•Any medication:

•Food how often:

•When was last water change and how much:

And what test kit`s are you useing:

Your reading`s are high, would do at lest a 50% WC now....
But also sound`s like he/she has too much meat in diet. blockage problems maybe.
Have you trye`d veg`s and fruit ?
A epsom salt bath will not hurt, no more than the stress of takeing the O out of tank, and back again. ( Watch out for temp diffrent when bath done, to tank water)
